Nia MacKeown is a Pembrokeshire-born artist with a passion for painting en plein air. A member of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters (ROI), she has been a full-time professional artist since 2016, painting the things she loves, mainly in oils: imagery of everyday life, of the endearing commonplace, and landscapes tempered with reflection and light. Her work has been shown at the ROI exhibition, the New English Art Club, the Royal West Academy exhibition, the Wales Contemporary, and the Artist Magazine open exhibition. She lives with her husband and two small children in Cardiff.
