Bob Ryan, an NRA-certified pistol instructor and range officer, is a native Montanan that has spent his life hunting, shooting and just generally being outdoors. He's currently retired from a variety of odd jobs that have interfered with his free time, including (but not limited to): ranch hand, green chain operator, bounty hunter, private investigator and process server. When he's not busy writing, filling the freezer, playing with his nephew or teaching a class, he enjoys spending time at the range testing loads for his latest acquisitions. His wildcat, the .411 Ryan Express, has proven itself effective on big game throughout North America and Africa.
