Gordon Spark is undertaking a PhD at the University of Dundee, where he also teaches on the English Literature and Academic Skills programmes. His research seeks to establish a link between the political And The narratological in the novels of Kazuo Ishiguro and Timothy Mo. He has also published on the work of John le Carregrave;. Laura Findlay is a postgraduate student at the University of Dundee, where she teaches English Literature and Film. She previously studied an undergraduate degree in English and an MLitt in Writing Culture, also at Dundee. Her research interests centre around representations of New York in 9/11 fiction, film, and graphic novels. Pauline MacPherson is a Postgraduate student at Dundee University. She is currently working on her MPhil entitled 'Queer Perspectives in the Work of Jeanette Winterson'.


She has published on Winterson and Queer Theory. Andy Wood completed his PhD thesis, "'Come What May, We Are Here to Stay': Popular Cultures And The Formation of Asian and black British Identities" at the University of Dundee in 2008. He has written on a number of aspects of Asian and black British fiction, film and music and published chapters in a number of collections and journals including Wasafari, A black British Canon? And The Routledge Companion to Black British Culture. He currently writes music features and reviews For The online magazine is This Music? and has an essay in a forthcoming publication about Mark E. Smith And The Fall.
