Danielle Saint-Ongeis an early reading specialist for young students and also works as an abstract painter. Danielle is the co-author, with Jeff Szpirglas, of the Orca Echoes titles Messy Miranda, X Marks the Spot, Something's Fishy, Shark Bait! and Super Switch. She lives with her family in Kitchener, Ontario. Jeff Szpirglasis the author of several works for young people, including the horror collections Tales from Beyond the Brain, Tales from the Fringes of Fearand most recently, the Book of Screams series. He is also the co-author, with Danielle Saint-Onge, of a number of Orca Echoes titles, including Shark Bait!, X Marks the Spotand Super Switch. Jeff has worked at CTV and was an editor at Chirp, Chickadeeand Owlmagazines. In his spare time, he teaches grade school. Jeff lives with his family in Kitchener, Ontario.

Alyssa Waterburyis an illustrator from London, Ontario. Her first published illustrations appeared in Brooke Carter's Ghost Girl, which was named an honour book at the Forest of Reading program's 2025 Silver Birch Express Awards.
