Dr. Gail Saltz is associate professor of psychiatry at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and a practicing psychiatrist and psychoanalyst at the New York Psychoanalytic Institute. She has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Dateline NBC, and CBS News, and is a mental health contributor to the Today show. She is also the author of the adult book Becoming Real: Defeating the Stories We Tell Ourselves That Hold Us Back. She lives in New York City.
