Charles Sawyer is the author of "The Arrival of B.B. King" first published in 1980. He teaches history of blues at Harvard Extension School and leads a blues band named "2120 South Michigan Avenue."Bistra Lankova was a dramaturg and producer at the Bulgarian National Television. She was a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University. She died in 1988.
