) This book stemmed from my own experience using journaling as a coping tool, and then later with clients. I have given nearly a hundred workshops on both Writing It Out and Drawing It Out, have written and taught professional training courses on "Journaling As An Adjunct To Therapy," and have also written two professional journaling courses which are sold online through Professional Development Resources. So, it is a tool I truly believe in, have experience and feel comfortable with. She has created numerous journaling exercises, suggested them to her teen clients frequently and believes that it is a very strong therapeutic tool for this age group.
