Where Once a Flower Bloomed, an NCTE Notable Children's Book in the Language Arts; and What's Up, What's Down? Enrico Lorenzi is an Italian illustrator born and raised in a small seaside town in Liguria (Italy) and currently residing in Florence, surrounded by beauty. Since he was a child, drawing has been his greatest passion and companion - Enrico spent most of his time lost in his sketchbook. As an illustrator, Enrico has worked with Candlewick Press, Random House Little Tiger, and Magic Cat as well as major Italian publishing houses Rizzoli, Battelloa vapore, Sassi editore, ELi editions, Raffaello editore, Lapis, and Beisler. His U.S. debut picture book as an author/illustrator will be released in 2025 with Simon and Schuster/Beach Lane.
Enrico loves getting lost in an endless search, finding and trying new techniques and mixing traditional, engraving and digital styles. His works range in different genres, from non-fiction books to illustrated books.
