Dr Joanne Scott teaches Australian history and Australian studies at the University of the Sunshine Coast. She has published in the areas of labour history, race and gender relations, popular culture, oral history and the history of education Dr Ross Laurie teaches Australian history and politics at the Ipswich campus of the University of Queensland. He has published in the fields of race and gender relations and popular culture. Bronwyn Stevens lectures in politics and international studies at the University of the Sunshine Coast. She has written reports for the Queensland Electoral Commission and the Department of Employment, Vocational Training and Industrial Relations. Patrick Weller, Professor of Politics at Griffith University, has written extensively on Australian and comparative politics, in particular the area of executive governance.
