Marie Seltenrych was inspired to write this story when she became Secretary/Editor of Underwood Neighbourhood Watch from 1997 - 2003. She was awarded a Silver Lapel badge by Superintendent Alex F. Irwin, Slacks Creek 3/4 and a Certificate of Appreciation from the Watch. Marie was inspired by her siblings, including her brother, Liam Rafferty, who was murdered in London in 1999. She is passionate about helping young people stop turning to a life of crime.
