Nineteen year old Macon O'Reilly earned himself a stay at the jail, punishment by confinement. He soon learns it's not as easy as it sounds. He must find strength to meet the challenges of incarceration and make it back home to sweet Anna, the girl he plans to marry. He soon realizes his troubles aren't contained behind cinder block walls that imprison him when the people he loves find themselves in the path of predators. He is forced to choose between freedom and a life of incarceration to save them.
