When Theo's father has a job promotion the family has to move to another town far away and Theo has to leave his friends behind. Things at the new school soon fall into place, but finding a friend is not so easy. In his pursuit to uncover the mystery of the next door neighbor, the frog killers and defending the neighbor's rabbits, Theo finds friendship. Will it be the reclusive red haired girl in his class or the Snake Creek gang from the popular crowd. Theo soon discovers that what people say about others or themselves is not always the best way to judge someone.
