Emma Smith is Professor of Shakespeare Studies at Hartford College, University of Oxford. Emma is a Trustee of The Royal Shakespeare Company and in 2023 she was the San Wanamaker Fellow at Shakespeare's Globe. Her books include Shakespeare's Trees, The First Elizabethans, Portable Magic and This Is Shakespeare which was a Sunday Times bestseller and translated into several languages. This is her first graphic novel.
