The author is a "true blue" Aussie, a "bloke's bloke" a former stock and station agent and cattle auctioneer. He has lived in regional New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory all his life. He has had a close relationship with many farmers and graziers and his writings reflect his experiences and observations in rural Australia. Non Australians may find some words confusing but his vocabulary is often used in the past and the present.
