The Oasis is a special place, where women are servants, unwilling bed-mates, labourers and pony girls. Here the male is supreme and the women required, even demanded, to obey them in every way. The few women who are allowed positions of authority are at times even crueller than the males! The story is told from the viewpoint of a resident, a visitor, a pony girl and one of women - who is finally arrested and falsely charged with possession which means she ends up in the same position as the hapless women she has happily caused suffering to!.
