Mac Smith (1974- ) was born to a truck driver and a stay at home mom. Grew up with his big sister and went to New London Elementary School and North Stanly High School. Became interested in comic books and novels at an early age and was always enthralled in the world of imagination. Then he was into dungeons and Dragons and various other role playing games, where he learned his story telling ability. After some college and various jobs he accepted a job with the NC Department of Corrections for ten years. Then the call of story telling became to strong to ignore. His first Novella series, Discombobulated: Tales of the Devildog was released on 4/22/2014. His first novel The Badd Inn will be released soon.

He lives in North Carolina with his wife of five years and two wonderful children. He has four vicious guard cats.
