An explosive African Black Ops thriller! Fans of Jack Carr and Vince Flynn, buy now! Betrayal from within. A team divided. And a deadly shadow war masked as a global charity. Chaos, mistrust, and bitter resentment have shattered the once-closely knit black ops unit at Nimbus Services. Trust has hit rock bottom between master operative Mark Trent and the group''s visionary leader, David Endicott. The breaking point arrives when David''s closest friend in South Africa requests urgent help at his private animal reserve--where wildlife is mysteriously dying, and neighboring landowners are turning a blind eye. The Nimbus team is locked, loaded, and ready to deploy, but David stalls. He seemingly no longer believes his veteran agents are up to the task.
Instead, David introduces a wild card: Rogers Delamar. Like Mark, Rogers is a legendary former Agency ghost. But the power dynamic has shifted dangerously. David is treating this newcomer like the boss, leaving the rest of the team questioning their leader''s sanity. Rogers is a master of psychological warfare--a man so deeply enmeshed in living under assumed identities that his true personality and motives are completely impossible to decipher. When the team finally touches down in Africa, they uncover a conspiracy far more sinister than ecological sabotage: A Trail of Blood: Locals are being systematically executed. Stolen Lands: Vast territories are vanishing under the ownership of mysterious corporate entities shrouded in dark secrecy. The Ultimate Deception: Widespread corruption and corporate land-grabbing are being successfully hidden under the guise of global charity.
Forced to fight a war on two fronts, Mark Trent and his allies must navigate a treacherous landscape while overcoming the dangerous obstacles Delamar deliberately throws in their path. The elite Nimbus unit must put aside their internal friction to survive: Mark Trent: The top operative fighting to save the world while losing faith in his mentor. David Endicott: The mastermind whose blind trust in an old colleague might be his final, fatal mistake. Rogers Delamar: The shadowy chameleon orchestrating a brilliant game of misdirection. Claudine ''Dina'' Moreau: The acrobatic infiltration expert searching for entry points in a wild new terrain. Nick Sherpa & Nathan Brookman: The lethal point man and the brilliant former Navy SEAL tactical planner. Carlos Santos & Beulah Jane ''BJ'' Carter: The former D.C.
police detectives using raw investigative instincts to unmask the corporate puppet masters. Charles ''The Zit'' Zitmore: The messy tech prodigy scraping dark-web data using AI analysis for financial ties to the African reserves. Thelma Morrison: The chain-smoking tactical anchor keeping watch over a crumbling agency from Washington, D.C. As the body count rises in the African wilderness, nothing is as it seems. Is David orchestrating a master plan, or has he walked his team directly into a slaughterhouse? Unmask a dangerous enemy that no one saw coming--before Nimbus is permanently wiped off the map.
