Joseph M. Spencer has degrees from Brigham Young University and San Jose State University and is currently a graduate student in philosophy at the University of New Mexico. In addition, he is an adjunct instructor in philosophy and religious studies at the University of New Mexico, Valencia Campus. He is the author of articles published in Dialogue, BYU Studies, the Journal of Mormon History, and the Journal of Philosophy and Scripture, and the editor, with Jenny Webb, of Reading Nephi Reading Isaiah, available from Salt Press.
