Mirella Mariani was born in a small and green village between Milano and Como and has been in love with drawing since she can remember. When she was a child she loved books and comics too, so it was quite easy to find what she wanted to be when she grew up. After artistic high school she graduated from an illustration school in Milano. Now she is a children's book illustrator and comics drawer, and is mostly interested in their humorous side. She also loves riding her bicycle, horse riding, swimming and scuba diving. She loves animals and drawing them!.
