"If you want to see the beauty of Jesus, his amazing love in his self-sacrifice for sinners, and how stunning and wonderful our salvation is, then read this book. I was repeatedly moved to worship by the profundity of Spurgeon's insights, and even more by the depth of our Savior's love and the wisdom of God's plan. This is a book to read and to reread with wonder, prayer, and joy." Thomas R. Schreiner, James Buchanan Harrison Professor of New Testament Interpretation, Associate Dean, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary "Charles Spurgeon proves a reliable--and riveting--guide to the lovingkindness and grace of Jesus as shown through the passion week and the resurrection. The writings here assembled and organized by Geoffrey Chang will deepen your appreciation of the gospel and your apprehension of Jesus's glory." Jared C. Wilson, Pastor for Preaching and Training, Liberty Baptist Church; assistant professor of pastoral ministry and author in residence, Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary; author of Friendship with the Friend of Sinners "Few preachers in history have helped me see the beauty of Christ and his gospel like Charles Spurgeon has.

In these pages, the prince of preachers draws us again to the cross and resurrection with wonderful clarity. Geoffrey Chang has served us well here, giving us a devotional that warms our hearts and deepens our love for our Savior." Greg Gilbert, Senior Pastor, Third Avenue Baptist Church, Louisville, KY.
