Scott Steedman grew up in Australia and Prince George, a town in Western Canada that began as a fur-trading fort. He studied natural history at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, and has edited many books on science and history for children. Mark Bergin studied at Eastbourne College of Art and has specialized in historical reconstruction.
