D. J. Steinberg is the bestselling author of over forty books for young readers, including the popular Here I Come! series and the award-winning King Louie's Shoes . He lives in Los Angeles, California, where he is currently looking for his chicken. Susan Batori is a Hungarian children's book illustrator. She lives in Budapest with her husband, Robert, and her cat, Kamilla. She studied graphic design at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, Budapest. A former art director at the advertising agency DDB Budapest, Susan soon realized that drawing hilarious characters was much more fun and has been working as a freelance children's book illustrator since 2013.

She has worked with numerous international publishers. Her most significant work to date was illustrating Dan Brown's debut picture book, Wild Symphony . Humor is the one thing in her studio that she could not live without.
