Gideon Sterer is the New York Times bestselling author of The Christmas Owl; I Will Read to You; Not Your Nest!; The Night Knights; and The Midnight Fair, among other picture books. Gideon grew up in Upstate New York, where his parents owned a little zoo. Sometimes, he let the animals out. Gideon lives in New York's Hudson Valley.Ala Flora is a recent graduate of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, Poland.
