It Calls Me
This memoir chronicles the two separate weeks Angel Stoddard, a middle-aged woman, spent alone in the Northwoods of Wisconsin at her family's hunting shack. With no electricity, no running water, and no cell phone reception, Angel confronts her fears, guilt and anxiety. She shares stories of the the Flambeau River State Forest, hunting, and camping. You will sometimes laugh at her mishaps and maybe cry during her moments of despair. Along the way you will learn about Wisconsin's historical Northwoods.
