Swaying, spinning, falling - what are balance disorders, where do they come from, and how are they treated? This book covers the 10 most common forms of dizziness - explained clearly and succinctly for laypeople and supported by helpful videos. Learn how the balance organ works and let the three dizziness specialists describe the different types of symptoms that can occur. Find out how examinations for dizziness symptoms are performed and what the findings may be. The patient guide explains the possibilities offered by medical treatment, physiotherapy or even behavioral therapy. It uses videos to show how patients can help themselves. Several patient stories vividly illustrate the different ways in which dizziness and balance disorders can present, and how people can deal with them. Prof. Dr.
