This is a revised edition of a 1983 biographical novel based on the life and time of the man known as Nostradamus, the sixteenth century French seer reputed to have predicted major world events spanning the past four hundred years. The story is told from the viewpoint of a childhood friend, and sometimes skeptic, whose position in the French court stands in marked contrast to the life of his friend, Michel de Nostredame.
