Life Goes On is a poetry book that dwells in the emotions of moving on in life from your teens and twenties and finding yourself in the world. The poems in this book are biographical and Joe writes about the anger he felt in 2009 about his aunt's, uncle's, and grandma's death in 2008. In 2009 his mom was diagnosed with a terminal illness and he has to deal with that on top of other personal issues. Joe proceeds to write about his hometown and events and places that he visited in his childhood and adulthood. Life Goes On is a 96 page book full of poems and photos of his life.
