About the AuthorI am mother, grandmother, educator and international author of 365 Empowering Stories. I teach special education for pre-school in Stone Mountain Georgia. I received my Bachelors Degree of Arts in Education from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois and my Masters in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, AZ. As a pre-school special education teacher of children with special needs, my students have exposed me to my creative side that sparked and ignited me to write several children's shorts stories.The objective in NaTalee Is My Special Friend is to teach children from diverse cultures, those in special education and within co-taught classrooms to be sensitive, to accept and treat other respectfully who are different from them.
