Greg Thomas grew up in Cocoa Beach, Florida in the 1960's. He and a group of friends were some of the early pioneers insurfing in Cocoa Beach, Florida, Hawaii, and Peru. He experienced the early days of the Space Program in Cape Canaveraland the surrounding areas as they were transformed from a sleepy beachside town with the influx of engineers and Space companiesalong with national media exposure.
