Watching from the Walls offers an invitation for us to enter into the story of Jesus' birth. As 'watchmen on the walls,' we have a part to play in that story---because just as Jesus came into the world once before, so does he promise to return to us. By remembering and celebrating his birth each Advent season, we anticipate and prepare for his coming return.
