Doctor Thompson, grew up on a farm in Western Kentucky, the son of a Southern Baptist Minister, the Rev. Fred Thompson and Mrs. Mattie B Thompson, an elementary school teacher. At a young age Dr. Thompson, learned that hard work was a requirement for success in life. His wife Dawn, of more than fifty years, was raised on a New Jersey, dairy farm where she learned the same lessons in life. Dawn has her own business and teaches Sunday.
