He called himself Johnny Sundown because his real name was difficult for anyone but a full blooded Sioux to pronounce. He was a private investigator in the mean streets of Chicago, Illinois during the 1950's, but his cases were special. He took on all those things no one else could confront: zombies, ghosts and other threats from the hidden other world. Johnny Sundown was the last Shadow Warrior, the last active magician who could stand against those unknown horrors. But he had fallen on his final case against the greatest threat the world had ever faced, and the universe should have moved on from that lost realm of power and wonder. Only it hadn't. Decades later that same threat has reared its head once more, and only the Shadow Warrior's long lost journal contained the secrets necessary to stand up to an evil that would destory reality itself. Now a group of scientists is struggling to understand this ancient threat and desperate to locate the missing book.
