The month of July is dedicated to the Most Precious Blood of Jesus. Before the reorganization of the liturgical calendar in 1969, a feast day in honor of the Most Precious Blood was observed on the first Sunday of July. Currently, this feast day is combined with the Feast of Corpus Christi, on the eighth Sunday after Easter, but the monthly devotion remains. Included in this booklet, is the approved Litany of the Precious Blood along with other prayers, and an apostolic letter explaining the devotion.
