Stephanie Anne Timmer is a systems engineer, cybersecurity specialist, and cloud architect with more than thirty years of experience across defense, intelligence, and commercial environments. She began her career as an Electrical Technician in the U.S. Marine Corps and has since worked across electrical engineering, software development, systems engineering, and cloud architecture - including assignments supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command. She has extensive experience supporting U.S.
Department of Defense customers on cloud adoption, security architecture, and post-quantum cryptography migration. Her work spans the full range of federal cybersecurity disciplines, from enterprise cloud security design to embedded systems and constrained device deployments. She holds AWS Solutions Architect Professional and CompTIA SecurityX (CASP+) certifications. She is the author of Quantum Computing for Engineers (Apollo Publications, 2026) and the companion white paper series Quantum-Safe Security: A Practitioner's Guide (White Papers 1-7, Apollo Publications, 2026). The Quantum-Safe Migration Cookbook is her third published title with Apollo Publications.
