Gwendolyn Carole Tipton continues to select beautiful Bible verses that stimulate real cries of prayer. Through 66 Bible verses and prayers, one for each chapter in Isaiah, she encourages us to grow in our relationship with God. The "prompt" words she offers are meant to encourage you--"the Prayor"--to write your own prayers in a simple manner by completing four phrases: I acknowledge You as .; I confess my sin.; I ask for my daily bread.; and, I praise God for. Daily journaling builds meditative pages that can bring calm when the emotional air is turbulent or when it is still and nothing is happening. Looking up or down to be in tune with our higher God can bring peaceful freedom of thought and movement, happiness, avoidance of adversity, and focused attention on our true emotions.
The Prayor Worships with Isaiah provides a way to help reach this freedom. Included is a Worship Inspiration Service Outline for group use to help expand the understanding that "God will strengthen you and help you" (Isaiah 41:10). All of the Bible verses were taken from the Holy Bible, New International Version (NIV), Women's Devotional Bible (Zondervan, 1994). Gwendolyn Carole Tipton introduced her first yearlong devotional journal in 2013: The Prayor: One Who Prays. She has also published a book of poetry: Feeling Wheels. 2014.
