"The Tale of Christmas Mountain" is the 7th children's book written and illustrated by Janet Tlachac-Toonen. As in her other works, it includes many of her familiar forest characters taking part in one of her amazing adventures. Janet began writing the story when she relocated to the rolling hills and rock ledge area of the beautiful Wisconsin Dells.In this story, Margie Owl has just returned from a magical trip where she's discovered a mountain forest like none she's ever seen. But, was it real or just a fantastic dream? After hearing her tale, pals Sidney and Simon decide that they need to find the Christmas Mountain for themselves. The pair venture off in search of the forest and all its wonder. In the end, they discover something much more important than the mountain itself.
