Kala Trobe is the main nom-de-plume of Kate La Trobe-Bateman (London, UK). She is an award-winning author of several works of non-fiction including Invoke the Goddess: Visualizations of Hindu, Greek, & Egyptian Deities, Magic of Qabalah, Invoke the Gods: Exploring the Power of Male Archetypes and The Witchs Guide to Life, as well as two collections of literary short stories. Her latest novel is 'Spiritus', a fictional work of Gothic Decadence set in Amsterdam. Kala is published by Random House UK, Llewellyn Worldwide, Hay House, and Grapevine Press. Ms. Trobe currently divides her time between London and Glastonbury.
