Sherry Turkle is the Abby Rockefeller Mauzé Professor of the Social Studies of Science and Technology and the founding director of the MIT Initiative on Technology and Self. A leading expert in humans' relationship with computational objects, she continues to revolutionize our understanding of the role of technology, social networking, and sociable robotics on psychology and culture.
