Naomi writes narrative nonfiction, young adult fiction and stage plays. Her young adult novel, "The Apology Box" (Idle Time Press, 2021), was a finalist in the Next Generation Indie's Book Award competition and was selected as runner-up in the Indies Today Book Award young adult literary category. Naomi's stories and personal essays have been published in The Nomad, The New Guard, Narratively, and Mud Season Review, among others. She was the recipient of an Oregon Literary Arts Fellowship for her screenplay, The Thin Line, and has been the recipient of fellowships from Martha's Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. She currently lives on the southern coast of Oregon.
