R.K. Upadhyay is Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computing at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. His research covers dynamical systems, chaotic dynamics, population modeling, and spatial pattern formation in biological populations. He has published over 220 peer-reviewed papers and guided more than 15 Ph.D. scholars. He co-authored two books on mathematical modeling and biological dynamics.
He serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Innovation Science and Sustainable Technologies and is on the editorial boards of several journals. He is Associate Editor of Food Web, Advances in Difference Equation, and Differential Equations and Dynamical Systems and Guest Editor for its special issue on nonlinear biosignaling models. He was Research Fellow at Eötvös University, Hungary, and is affiliated with the International Society of Computational Ecology. S. A. Sahu is Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computing at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, holding a Ph.D. in applied mathematics from the same institute (2012).
His research focuses on solid mechanics, wave dynamics in smart composite structures, and ionospheric perturbation analysis using AI. He has developed analytical and semi-analytical models for wave propagation in piezo-composite structures. With 120+ published papers in reputed journals, he has supervised 16 Ph.D. scholars and led multiple funded R&D projects in electro-elastodynamics and ionospheric studies through deep learning. He served as Associate Editor for a special issue of the International Journal of Geophysics and has organized various conferences and training programs on modeling and simulation. V. Sree Hari Rao serves as Director and Principal Research Scientist of the Foundation for Scientific Research & Technological Innovation, Hyderabad.
A Ph.D. from IIT Kanpur, he is Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences India, Forum D''Analystes, and IETE. Also he is a Fellow of the Artificial Intelligence Industry Academy (FAIIA), USA. His research spans over dynamical systems, mathematical modeling, AI, ML, and data science. He has contributed to predictive modeling in science, engineering, medicine, and domains like aerospace, biology, health care, and finance. Alongside he has over 150 research publications, several books, and patents on a variety of products from various countries. He is the Founding and Continuing Editor-in-Chief of Differential Equations and Dynamical Systems, and also the Journal of Innovation Sciences and Sustainable Technologies.
Further, he holds editorial roles with various International Journals of high repute. He has travelled widely on scientific and research missions and worked in several countries. Atul Kumar Verma is Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computing at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. Earlier, he worked at the National Institute of Technology Trichy, Tamil Nadu, India. With a master''s and a Ph.D. from IIT Roorkee and IIT Ropar, respectively, his research interests focus on mathematical modeling and simulation, including the topics bidirectional transport systems, statistical mechanics, stochastic transport, and Monte-Carlo simulations. He is actively engaged in sponsored research projects and supervision of Ph.
D. students. He is recipient of several international travel grants from renowned international organizations. Ashok Das is Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. His research explores particulate process modeling through population balance models, discrete element methods, and multiscale couplings. He has developed advanced computational tools to optimize granulation, crystallization, and recycling in industrial settings. Before joining the IIT (ISM), he completed postdoctoral research at Institut Jean Lamour (Université de Lorraine, France) and the Bernal Institute (University of Limerick, Ireland). He earned his M.
Sc. and Ph.D. in Mathematics from IIT Kharagpur in 2016 and 2022, respectively, integrating applied mathematics with real-world engineering solutions.
