Jason Viola is the author of three books in the Science Comics series-- Polar Bears , The Digestive System , and Elephants --as well as The Prohibition Era in the History Comics series. He's the co-founder of the Boston Comic Arts Foundation, which brings comics festivals and workshops to communities across Massachusetts. Jason lives outside Boston with his wife, his son, and probably more fungi than he realizes. Nori Retherford is a storyteller who blends ink, gestural anatomy, and emotion into striking visual narratives. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, she found inspiration in the intricate details of the natural world, which grounds and informs a lifelong love of myth and fantasy. Nori studied sequential art and scientific illustration at SAIC in Chicago. She now lives in Athens, Greece with her wife and cats, where she spends her days exploring ancient ruins, drawing, drawing, drawing, and making luxury stuffed animals. Juliet Tierney is a New York-based colorist, illustrator, graphic designer, and founder of Squinch Studios(tm).
She studied animation at Pratt Institute and the Savannah College of Art and Design before obtaining a BFA in Cartooning/Comics from the School of Visual Arts. Known for her enthusiasm in tackling new challenges, Juliet welcomes a diverse range of projects--from large companies to individual clients.
