As far back as I can remember, poverty, frustration, anger, hatred, and many other mechanisms of destruction have infiltrated the communities of black neighborhoods, making it nearly impossible to nurture the beautiful aspects of life and growth. Not to disassociate these very same mechanisms with any other culture, but the brutal truth is that the black man has undoubtedly laid his claim on GENOCIDE. The question which remains is why? Could it be a lack of knowledge for self, values, or concern? I've written GROWTH IS FOR A NATION to abolish the myth of hiding anything of significant importance in a book to keep it away from black eyes. WE READ! WE LEARN! WE GROW! WE CHANGE! For a child to know no more than his people's despair creates a sense of animosity, resentment, inferiority, and an attitude of vengeance. A recipe for self-destruction. For a child to know the dignitary status of their people versus their despair creates a parallel view of what one can achieve versus what one can endure. It gives relevance to both past and present, to know the whole truth about where we come from and emphasize what we've fallen to. Within the pages of GROWTH IS FOR A NATION, you will find hidden treasures that are sure to stir the soul and awaken the true beauty of internal contentment.
"As long as a man knows the WHY.he can endure almost any HOW"-Friedrich Nietzsche.
