Simon Grist A Lecturer in Mental Health and Programme lead for the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner programme at the University of Southampton and is a qualified mental health nurse and CBT therapist. Prior to working at the University he worked as a CMHT manager, worked extensively in crisis and home treatment teams and worked in substance misuse services. Julia Pelleis a lecturer in mental health nursing in the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Southampton. She teaches on "Culture, Ethnicity and Diversity in Health & Social Care" across a variety of prequalifying, postgraduate and post qualifying health care programmes. Prior to entering academia, Julia held nursing posts in acute in-patient mental health care, working in a number of culturally diverse settings. This has been life-transforming for her and, through using her skills on a daily basis, has developed the overall therapy goal of a 'life worth living.
