Dr Xin Wang received his Ph.D. degree in pharmacology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and postdoctoral training in the University of Texas Medical Branch. He has been working in the East China Normal University as associate professor since 2011. His research fields include pharmacokinetics, integrative approach for the study of anticancer effects of Chinese medicinal (CM) herbs (chemical analysis, pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, adverse effect/toxicity, and quality control of CM herbs), and herb-drug interactions, in particular chemopreventive and synergistic anticancer effects of CM herbs in the combinational chemotherapy of anticancer drugs. Currently, Dr. Wang is hosting or participating in many projects supported by the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Dr.

Wang has published more than 30 SCI papers in international peer-reviewed journals and contributed four book chapters. Meanwhile, he is dedicated to social activities and serves as the editorial board member and ad-hoc reviewer of many SCI journals, such as Gene, Journal of Translational Medicine, Toxicology Research, Phytomedicine, Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, Phytotherapy Research, Biomedical Chromatography, European Journal of Histochemistry, and Fitoterapia et al.
