After careers in fine woodworking, design engineering, and working at a junkyard hauling scrap iron, Charles G. Waugh launched Charles Fine Art Portraits at the end of 2002. With the eye of an artist, the precision of an engineer, and the mania of a darn-near obsessive, Charles creates porrtaits that are works of fine art, expressing the inner life and heart of the subjects. Each of his portraits is the culmination of an immensely enjoyable experience of joint creation with Charles that the subjects will remember for a lifetime. Living on three acres in Boring, Oregon (yes, it really is called Boring!) with two cats, two dogs, seven ducks, and his wife of 31 years, Annie, he enjoys life as it comes and relishes snuzzling with his favorite kitty, BikBik.
