Scarlett and Crimson are expecting this week to be just like every other week at V. Price Memorial Middle School. But to their surprise and delight they discover some Darq potential in the new British exchange studentPepper Is your DarqSense tingling? Scarlett and Crimson, best friends and creators of the Darq scene, are all about helping others discover their true selves and their potential. Darq is a way of looking at the world and making sense of it from the inside out, finding out what’s wrong and right for you. Now tween girls have two characters they can look up to, as Scarlett and Crimson deal with the trials and tribulations of life through music and friendship, and some good clean creative expression. Scarlett, a romantic with a Darq side, has a chic fashion sense and a talent for poetry. Crimson, a realist with a penchant for mischief, can play the piano like a regular Mozart, though she prefers rockin’ out on the drums. Whiteafter hearing that he just snubbed the Leetz (the clique of popular, know-it-all girls that rules the school)! Then the girls find out that the community recreation center is sponsoring a Battle of the Bands.

The top three bands from the whole district will compete live on Halloween nightthe perfect opportunity to showcase their new band DarqStarz, and show the Leetz that popularity doesn’t always win over the crowd!.
