Andrew Wells was born in Epsom, Surrey on the 20th November 1996 and grew up there before moving to Horsley, also in Surrey. With a developing passion for literature he found poetry at the age of 15 and dedicated a great deal of time to the study and reading of poetry. His skills as a poet quickly developed and his poetry blog (Poems and Insomnia) reached 2000 followers within three months, before he closed it. Purple Night is his first book publication after having had multiple publications in online poetry journals that include Haiku Today and The Secrets of a Poet Daily.
