Gregor Buchanan returns from the Korean War intent on a quiet life, but a chance encounter in the midst of a pub brawl and the discovery of missing family treasures is about to change all that. Finding himself immersed in the shady world of antique dealing, forgery and thuggery, he sets out to recover the items with bravado and bluff. A degree of stealth is called for, but trying to conceal your movements in a large and conspicuous Bentley may not be the most obvious choice - nor is bringing along a large and conspicuous minder who just might be having second thoughts about hitting people.
