Brenda Werth is Assistant Professor of Spanish and Latin American Studies at American University in Washington D.C. She has published articles on contemporary Argentine theatre and performance focusing on intergenerational memory, immigration, and the middle class. She is currently working on a co-edited volume on theatre and human rights. Her future project explores global imaginings of the city in twenty-first century theatre and performance in the Americas.
