Ben West has written on a wide variety of subjects for many newspapers and magazines including The Guardian, The Independent, The Daily Telegraph, The Times, The Daily Mail, The Evening Standard, Vogue and Readers' Digest. He has been chief property correspondent for The Daily Express and The Sunday Express and had a weekly property column in the Financial Times. He has written a number of books on property and travel.
